SetCurve Privacy Policy

Information SetCurve Collects
SetCurve does not require you to create an account and does not collect personal information for transmission to the developer.
Information you enter into SetCurve, including song information, BPM values, lyrics, ratings, setlists, tempo curves, gigs, preferences, and related app data, is stored locally on your device.
SetCurve does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or other third parties.
Files You Choose to Import or Export
SetCurve allows you to create and import files for purposes such as backing up and restoring SetCurve data or transferring your Song Library.
These operations occur only when you choose to initiate them. SetCurve uses Android’s file-selection and file-creation mechanisms to allow you to select where files are read from or saved.
SetCurve does not automatically upload these files to the developer or to a SetCurve-operated server.
If you choose to store or transfer an exported SetCurve file using a third-party service, such as a cloud-storage, email, messaging, or file-sharing service, that service’s privacy practices apply to the copy you provide to it.
Data Storage and Retention
SetCurve’s app data is stored locally on your device and remains there until you modify or delete it, clear SetCurve’s app data, or uninstall the app.
Files that you export from SetCurve remain wherever you choose to save them until you delete them yourself.
Because SetCurve does not maintain user accounts or store your app data on a SetCurve-operated server, the developer does not maintain a remote copy of your SetCurve data that can be deleted on your behalf.
Data Security
SetCurve relies on Android’s application storage and security mechanisms to protect information stored by the app on your device.
You are responsible for protecting exported backup and Song Library files after they have been saved or shared outside SetCurve.
Third-Party Services
SetCurve is distributed through Google Play. Google may process information related to downloading, purchasing, installing, or using SetCurve according to Google’s own privacy policies and terms.
SetCurve does not receive your Google account credentials or payment information.
Children’s Privacy
SetCurve is intended as a tool for musicians and is not specifically directed toward children. SetCurve does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if SetCurve’s features or data-handling practices change. Any updated policy will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
